Human Appeal was established more than 35 years ago with, in the charity's own words, "a clear vision that values human life and dignity, embraces justice and equality, and pursues a world free of suffering and poverty". Its Australian organisation works across more than 46 countries in emergency relief and long-term development.
Programs span orphan care, health (from hygiene packs to mobile clinics), water and sanitation (hundreds of wells established), education (back-to-school initiatives and re-established schools in crisis areas) and crisis relief, alongside domestic community and education programs in Australia.
