About
Unity Mentorship Foundation, founded by Mahde Hallab, mentors young people aged 15 to 25 from the Circles of Light Centre in Reservoir, in Melbourne's north. Its mission, in its own words: "to support young people struggling with their identity through meaningful mentorship that helps them navigate challenges and build a positive future."
Every program is free, and every mentor holds a Working with Children Check. The foundation exists first for young people doing it tough - isolation, disengagement from school, a lack of positive guidance - and participants often return as volunteers and mentors themselves. Registered charity since January 2026.
