Does InvestHAQ certify funds as halal?
No. InvestHAQ is an informant, not a certifier.
What we do: display each fund's own disclosed Shariah evidence - the board or adviser, the screening standard, the certificate and its validity window - and grade the strength of that evidence on the Certification Strength Scale.
What we do not do: issue rulings, endorse a fund as compliant, or substitute our judgement for a Shariah board's or a scholar's.
Grading the evidence is not the same as agreeing with it. A fund with strong evidence is a fund that has documented its position well - the religious question remains one for you and your scholar.
