What is InvestHAQ's Transparency Score?
A count of how much of the expected disclosure a fund actually publishes. It measures disclosure - never quality, and never merit.
Seven criteria, up to eight points, displayed as "X of Y applicable" so a fund is never penalised for a criterion that does not apply to it. The criteria cover whether the fund discloses a current fund-level certificate, a named Shariah board, a named screening standard, a purification rate, a complete total-fee figure, a stated benchmark, and current documents.
A high score means the fund tells you a lot. It does not mean the fund is a good investment, a cheap one, or a well-performing one. Restruck quarterly with the data refresh.
