Can a fund manager pay to be listed?
No. Inclusion in the register is determined by the published inclusion criteria and nothing else.
Basic inclusion - the profile, the data, the Transparency Score, the comparison - is not purchasable and not withdrawable. A provider cannot pay to be listed, and cannot pay to be removed from a comparison they would rather not appear in.
Optional commercial services, where a provider takes one, are separate, defined and disclosed. What such a service can never do is covered in the next answer.
