How can a fund manager request a factual correction?
Send the correct figure with the source document that evidences it. We verify against the document, not against the request.
- Evidence required - the source document, the page or field, and its date
- Review - checked against the source hierarchy by a researcher who did not enter the original value
- Service level - acknowledged within two business days; resolved within ten, or a status given
- Audit trail - the previous value, the new value, the evidence and the date are retained
- Display - the corrected field carries a new last-verified date
A correction updates the current record. It does not delete a valid historical record - what a document said at the time it was published remains part of the history.
