What does "last verified" mean?
That on that date, a person checked the displayed value against the source document and confirmed it matched.
The record includes what was checked, which source was checked, and who checked it.
What it does not mean: that the figure is still correct today; that the source document has not been superseded since; that the fund is a good investment; or that we have audited anything beyond the disclosure itself.
If a field has not been verified recently, the date says so plainly rather than being refreshed to look current.
