How does InvestHAQ resolve conflicting information between a PDS, factsheet and provider website?
The higher-authority source wins, we ask the provider, and where a conflict stays unresolved we display it rather than pick a side.
- 1 Apply the hierarchy - the PDS or IM outranks a factsheet, which outranks a website page
- 2 Check the dates - a current factsheet may legitimately supersede an older PDS figure
- 3 Escalate - put the discrepancy to the provider in writing and record the response
- 4 Where it remains unresolved - display the authoritative figure, note that sources conflict, and show the last verified date
The evidence behind each decision is retained, so a figure can always be traced back to the document it came from.
